
Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI) Tbilisi Academy of Economy and Law (AEL) is the Partner of Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI) since 2002. ERASMUS MUNDUS Program
Since February, 2007, Tbilisi Academy of Economy and Law, with Stanislaw Staszic School of Public Administration in Bialystok Poland (principal applicant for the program) is participating in the ERASMUS MUNDUS program, which represents a co-operation and mobility program in the field of higher education. It foresees to enhance quality in European higher education and to promote intercultural understanding through co-operation with third countries. The other partners for this coalition so far are: Mykolo Romerio University (Lithuania), University of Pardubice (Czech Republic), American University of Bulgaria and Ege University, Turkey. Potentially, University of Potsdam will be joining the coalition as well.
The ERASMUS MUNDUS program, together with above mentioned countries, offers Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan the possibility of mobility for student, faculty and professionals. Within the process of globalization, our nations strive to find a common cooperation ground, academic exchanged for students and academics are the answer to this need.
The objectives of the project are: to offer mobility to students and staff within the European Higher Education Area, to create additional links for international cooperation, to enable exchange of ideas, to improve the recognition of studies, to conduct common research in the areas of public administration, economics and international relations.
The wide spectrum of activities will be covered by the various academic institutions which offer various levels of studies. Based on the academic offer these institutions will accept the contracted numbers of students and faculty. In regards to the distribution of places. Each institution will prepare the academic offer and a combined offer will be sent to the partner institutions.
CEEMAN (Central and East European Management Development Association)
In October 2006, Tbilisi Academy of Economy and Law was accepted as a member of CEEMAN (Central and East European Management Development Association).
CEEMAN is a global network of management development institutions interested in quality of education and innovations in this field, as well as in the broad area of subjects related to change. CEEMAN includes 170 institutional and individual members from 42 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. |
